In 1623 (the first year of King Injo’s reign), a high-ranking official named Yi Won-ik (1547-1634) received an honorary seat and a cane from the king. This is a painting of the gathering of senior high-ranking officials held on the occasion of the presentation of this royal gift to Yi Won-ik.
