The overall form of this cup is characterized by gentle curves. It has a handle on each side and a figure of flowering wild grass. The inner bottom of the cup’s stand contains the Chinese characters “Taeiljeon” (太一殿), which refers to a Taoist shrine. The underside of the stand’s base is inscribed with the character “sip” (十, ‘ten’).
