These curved jades were excavated from the archaeological site in Songguk-ri, Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do. During the Bronze Age, these kinds of accessories were mostly made of amazon stone. Discovered in an ancient tomb, they were intended as burial objects and had a special significance to the person buried in the tomb.
