This book is a collection of calligraphic works by Heo Mok (1595-1682, pen-name: Misu), a Neo-Confucian scholar and civil minister of the mid-Joseon period. He developed a unique calligraphy style which came to be referred to as the “Misu Style”. This style was so singular that his contemporaries derided it as something that should be banned.
